The R1600 is a compact wireless vane anemometer designed to measure air velocity, air temperature, and relative humidity, suitable for both stand-alone use and integration with the REED Smart Series app, compatible with Android and iOS devices. The anemometer features measurement capabilities for air velocity in multiple units (m/s, ft./min, km/h, and mph), along with easy one-hand operation and an integrated 1.3" display for flexibility without a mobile device. It includes a magnetic backing for attachment to metallic surfaces, a data hold function, low battery indicator, and auto shut-off. Additionally, it is equipped with a tripod mount for long-term monitoring, offering a battery life of approximately 50 hours, a maximum of 6 connected devices, a maximum operating altitude of 6561' (2000m), and operates within a temperature range of -4 to 122°F (-20 to 50°C) with a storage temperature range of -4 to 140°F (-20 to 60°C). The operating and storage humidity ranges are both 10 to 90%. When connected to the REED Smart Series app, the R1600 can calculate air volume, serves as a real-time data logger with a user-selectable sampling rate from 1 to 120 seconds, and utilizes Bluetooth® 5.0 for connectivity up to 246' (75m) away, allowing for simultaneous connection and data logging of up to 6 instruments. The kit includes the vane anemometer, 4 x AAA batteries, and a protective cap, making it ideal for applications such as HVAC/R servicing, detecting filter blockage, and deriving volume flow of air registers.
