The R1610 is a compact thermo-hygrometer designed to measure ambient temperature and relative humidity, suitable for both stand-alone use and connection with the Reed Smart Series app (available for Android and iOS). The device features a bendable probe shaft for easy access to ducts, an integrated 1.3" display for use without a mobile device, and a magnetic backing for mounting on metallic surfaces. Key capabilities include data hold, user-selectable temperature units (°C or °F), a low battery indicator, auto shut-off, and a tripod mount for long-term monitoring. It operates within a temperature range of -4 to 140°F (-20 to 60°C) and a humidity range of 10 to 90%. The battery life is approximately 50 hours, depending on sampling time, with a maximum of six connected devices and an operating altitude of up to 6,561 feet (2,000 meters). When paired with the app, the R1610 functions as a real-time data logger with a user-selectable sampling rate of 1 to 120 seconds and Bluetooth® 5.0 connectivity for distances up to 246 feet (75 meters). The kit includes the thermo-hygrometer and four AAA batteries, making it ideal for applications in environmental studies, food distribution, HVAC/R system installation/evaluation, and greenhouses and industrial spaces.
