The compact 6-in-1 environmental meter, LM-8000, is designed to measure air velocity, air temperature, ambient temperature, relative humidity, light, and contact temperature. This device features data hold and minimum/max functions, facilitating easy one-handed operation. Air velocity can be measured in m/s, ft/min, km/h, mph, or knots, while light levels are recorded in foot-candles or lux. Temperature measurements can be displayed in either °C or °F. The meter also includes a zero adjustment button for the light meter, a low battery indicator, and an auto shut-off feature. It operates at temperatures ranging from 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C), can be stored between 14 to 140°F (-10 to 60°C), and functions within a humidity range of 10 to 85%. The kit includes the multi-function environmental meter, a wrist strap, and a battery, making it ideal for applications in HVAC/R and refrigeration servicing, detecting filter blockage, and monitoring condensers and chillers.
