The Women's DRIFIRE® Tecgen FR work shirt is designed with a feminine silhouette and is inherently flame resistant (FR), constructed from 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill. This shirt provides dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, featuring a pen/pencil slot in the front pocket, two chest pockets with flaps, and a lightweight, breathable fabric that ensures comfort through its unsurpassed moisture-wicking and drying rate. The FR protection of this shirt will not wash or wear out, making it suitable for all women, including expectant mothers, with a recommendation to size up for maternity wear to accommodate a changing body. It meets compliance standards with an arc rating of 8 Cal/cm², Cat Level 2, and adheres to the NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269 certifications. For proper care, the shirt is dry cleanable and should be turned inside out before laundering; it should be machine washed warm (maximum 140° / 60°) and tumbled dry on warm. To maintain fabric performance, it is essential to wash according to the specified instructions, ensuring contaminants such as dirt, grease, and oils are removed; if contaminants persist after laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
