The Women's DRIFIRE® Tecgen FR work shirt features a feminine silhouette and is inherently flame resistant (FR), made from a lightweight, breathable fabric with moisture-wicking properties to ensure comfort and maintain a professional appearance. The shirt is constructed from a 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill, providing dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire. It includes a pen/pencil slot in the front pocket, two chest pockets with flaps, and is designed to accommodate the needs of women, including expectant mothers, by recommending one size up for maternity use. The shirt has an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², meets Category Level 2 requirements, and complies with standards such as NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. Care instructions specify that the garment should not be washed with chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or fabric softeners, and should be dry cleaned or machine washed warm (maximum 140° / 60°) before tumble drying on a warm setting. Proper laundering is essential to maintain the fabric’s performance, particularly when soiled with contaminants like dirt, grease, or oils, and if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
