The kit includes a women's flame-resistant (FR) shirt made from a 6.25 oz. dual hazard knit lightweight, soft, and multi-hazard fabric, featuring a tagless neckline with a smooth covered neck and shoulder seam for exceptional comfort. Enhanced with FR 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflective comfort trim, this garment offers dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire and is designed specifically for women. It is compliant with multiple safety standards, including an arc rating of 11 cal/cm², Cat level 2, NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, ANSI/ISEA 107 type R class 3, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, the shirt should not be treated with bleach or hydrogen peroxide, nor should fabric softeners be used. The recommended washing instructions include machine washing cold with like colors (maximum 80°F / 27°C) and tumble drying low (maximum 140°F / 60°C). Proper laundering is essential to remove contaminants such as dirt, greases, and oils to maintain fabric performance, and if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advised to discontinue use of the garment.
