The kit includes a women's-specific protective garment made from a 6.25 oz. dual hazard knit that offers lightweight, soft, and multi-hazard fabric characteristics. It features a tagless neckline with smooth covered neck and shoulder seams for exceptional comfort, along with FR 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflective comfort trim. This garment provides dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire and is proudly made in the USA. The compliance standards met by the product include an arc rating of 11 cal/cm², Cat level 2, and adherence to NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, ANSI/ISEA 107 Type R Class 3, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For care, it is advised not to use bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or fabric softeners, and to machine wash cold with like colors, not exceeding 80°F (27°C), and tumble dry low, not exceeding 140°F (60°C). Proper laundering is essential to maintain fabric performance; if contaminants cannot be removed, it is recommended to discontinue use of the garment.
