The Women's DRIFIRE® Tecgen FR Work Shirt features a feminine silhouette and is inherently flame resistant (FR), constructed from a 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill fabric. This shirt offers dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, along with a pen/pencil slot in the front pocket and two chest pockets with flaps for added functionality. Its lightweight, breathable fabric boasts unsurpassed moisture-wicking and drying properties that ensure comfort throughout the day. The shirt has an arc rating of 8 cal/cm² and is compliant with several safety standards, including NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269, categorized as Cat 2 for electrical safety. Care instructions recommend against using chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or fabric softeners, and advise that the garment is dry cleanable, should be machine washed warm (max. 140° / 60°), and tumbled dry on low heat. To maintain fabric performance, it is essential to wash according to these instructions to remove any contaminants such as dirt, grease, and oils. If contaminants cannot be effectively removed after laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
