The Women's DRIFIRE® Tecgen FR work shirt features a feminine silhouette and is inherently flame resistant (FR). Made from a lightweight 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill fabric, this shirt provides dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, with an arc rating of 8 cal/cm² and classified as Cat 2. It includes a pen/pencil slot in the front pocket, two chest pockets with flaps, and moisture-wicking properties for comfort and breathability. Compliance with safety standards is ensured through certifications including NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. Care instructions specify that the shirt is dry cleanable, should be turned inside out before laundering, and should be machine washed warm (max. 140° / 60°) with tumble drying on warm. Avoid using chlorine bleach, detergents containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or fabric softeners to maintain fabric performance. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advised to discontinue use of the garment.
