The kit includes a women's safety garment made from a 6.25 oz. dual hazard knit lightweight, soft, and multi-hazard fabric, featuring a tagless neckline and smooth covered neck and shoulder seams for exceptional comfort. It is equipped with FR 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflective comfort trim and provides dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire. The garment has an arc rating of 11 cal/cm², categorized as Cat level 2, and complies with NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, ANSI/ISEA 107 Type R Class 3, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is recommended not to use bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or fabric softeners. The washing instructions specify to machine wash cold with like colors (maximum 80°F / 27°C) and tumble dry low (maximum 140°F / 60°C), ensuring to wash according to these guidelines to remove contaminants and maintain fabric performance. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advised to discontinue the use of the garment.
