The Women's DRIFIRE® Tecgen FR work shirt is designed with a feminine silhouette and is inherently flame resistant (FR), made from 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill fabric. This lightweight and breathable shirt features dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, ensuring comfort through its moisture-wicking properties and quick drying rate. Key features include a pen/pencil slot in the front pocket, two chest pockets with flaps, and a fit designed to accommodate expectant mothers by recommending an increase of one size for maternity use. The shirt complies with several safety standards, including an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Cat level 2, NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. To maintain its performance, the garment should be dry cleaned and laundered inside out in warm water (max. 140° / 60°) and tumble dried warm, avoiding the use of bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or fabric softeners. Proper care is essential to remove contaminants such as dirt, grease, and oils; if contaminants cannot be removed, it is recommended to discontinue use.
