The Women's DRIFIRE® Tecgen FR work shirt is designed with a feminine silhouette and is inherently flame resistant (FR), featuring a 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill fabric that offers dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire. This shirt includes a pen/pencil slot in the front pocket, two chest pockets with flaps, and is crafted from lightweight, breathable material that ensures comfort through its moisture-wicking and drying properties. It is important to note that the FR protection will not wash or wear out. For expectant mothers, it is advisable to select one size larger to accommodate a changing body. The shirt complies with various standards, including an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Cat level 2, NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. Care instructions include avoiding chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and fabric softeners, with recommendations for dry cleaning, turning the garment inside out before laundering, and washing at a maximum temperature of 140° F (60° C) followed by tumble drying on warm. Proper laundering is essential to maintain the fabric's performance, especially when soiled with contaminants such as dirt, grease, or oil; if contaminants remain after cleaning, discontinuing the use of the garment is advisable.
