The Women's DRIFIRE® TecGen FR work shirt is designed with a feminine silhouette and inherently flame-resistant properties. It is made from a 5.5 oz. TecGen Select® OPF blend twill fabric that provides dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire. The shirt features a pen/pencil slot in the front pocket, two chest pockets with flaps, and is lightweight and breathable, offering superior moisture-wicking and drying capabilities. It is essential for women's FR clothing, ensuring safety, comfort, and style, including considerations for expectant mothers who may want to size up. The shirt complies with various standards including an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Cat level 2, NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For care instructions, the garment is dry cleanable and should be turned inside out prior to laundering; it can be machine washed warm (maximum 140° / 60°) and tumbled dry warm. It is recommended to avoid bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and fabric softeners to maintain fabric performance, and if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
