The Women's DRIFIRE® Tecgen FR Work Shirt is designed with a feminine silhouette and is inherently flame resistant (FR), made from a 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill fabric that offers dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire. The shirt features a pen/pencil slot in the front pocket, two chest pockets with flaps, and is constructed with lightweight, breathable fabric that provides superior moisture-wicking and drying rates, ensuring comfort throughout the day. It is essential to note that the FR protection will not wash or wear out, making it a durable choice for various work environments. The shirt complies with key safety standards, including an arc rating of 8 cal/cm² and categorization as Cat 2 per NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For care, it can be dry cleaned and should be laundered by turning it inside out and machine washing warm (maximum 140° / 60°) without the use of chlorine bleach, detergents with bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or fabric softeners. Regular washing is necessary to maintain fabric performance and remove contaminants like dirt, greases, and oils. If contaminants remain post-laundering, it is advised to discontinue use of the garment.
