The Women's DRIFIRE® TecGen FR work shirt features a feminine silhouette and is inherently flame resistant (FR), designed with a lightweight, breathable 5.5 oz. TecGen Select® OPF blend twill fabric that offers unsurpassed moisture-wicking properties for comfort during work. Key features include dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, a pen/pencil slot in the front pocket, and two chest pockets with flaps. The shirt is compliant with several standards, including an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Cat level 2, NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. Proper care instructions recommend avoiding chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and fabric softeners, with laundering guidelines that include dry cleaning, turning the garment inside out before washing, and machine washing warm (max. 140° / 60°), followed by a warm tumble dry. To maintain the fabric performance, it is important to wash according to these instructions to remove contaminants such as dirt, grease, and oils. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
