The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed for compliance and comfort, featuring breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. This coverall includes a seven-pocket design with two chest pockets with flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps for convenient storage. The fabric is made of a 5.5 oz. TECGEN SELECT® OPF blend twill, providing dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire while offering a contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband. It is inherently flame resistant, ensuring that FR protection will not wash or wear out, and boasts lightweight, breathable fabric with an unsurpassed moisture-wicking and drying rate. Compliance with safety standards includes an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Category level 2, and adherence to NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For care, the garment is dry cleanable and should be turned inside out prior to laundering, machine washed warm (max. 140°F / 60°C), and tumbled dry warm. It is advised to avoid using chlorine bleach, detergents containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or fabric softeners to maintain fabric performance.
