The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed to keep the wearer compliant and comfortable, featuring breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. This coverall includes a seven pocket design with two chest pockets that have flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps for convenient storage. It is made from 5.5 oz. TECGEN SELECT® OPF blend twill, providing dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire. The contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband ensures a comfortable fit, while the inherently flame-resistant fabric offers protection that will not wash or wear out. The lightweight and breathable material delivers unsurpassed moisture wicking and drying capabilities. Compliance specifications include an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², CAT level 2, and adherence to NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For care, the garment is dry cleanable and should be turned inside out prior to laundering. Machine wash in warm water (max. 140°F / 60°C) and tumble dry warm, while avoiding chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and fabric softeners. Proper washing is essential to maintain fabric performance when contaminated with dirt, grease, or oils; if contaminants remain after laundering, discontinuing use of the garment is recommended.
