The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed specifically for women, providing compliance and comfort through its breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. The coverall features a seven-pocket design, including two chest pockets with flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps, ensuring that essentials are accessible and secure. Constructed from a 5.5 oz. TecGen Select® OPF blend twill, it offers dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, along with an inherently flame-resistant quality that does not wash or wear out. Its lightweight, breathable fabric boasts unsurpassed moisture-wicking and drying rates, while a contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband enhances comfort. The coverall meets compliance standards with an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², categorizing it at Cat 2, and adheres to NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For care, the garment is dry cleanable and should be turned inside out prior to laundering. It can be machine washed warm (max. 140°F / 60°C) and tumble dried warm. To maintain fabric performance, it is crucial to wash according to the specified instructions, especially if soiled with dirt, greases, or oils; if contaminants remain after laundering, discontinuing use of the garment is advisable.
