The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed for female wearers, ensuring compliance and comfort through its breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure that facilitates easy entry. The coverall features a seven-pocket design, including two chest pockets with flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps, allowing for convenient access to essential items. Made from a 5.5 oz. TECGEN SELECT® OPF blend twill, it offers dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire with an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², categorized as Cat 2 under NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. The design includes a contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband and ensures inherent flame resistance that is durable over time, functioning effectively even after multiple washes. The lightweight and breathable fabric excels in moisture-wicking and drying rates. For product care, it is recommended to avoid chlorine bleach, detergents containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and fabric softeners. The coverall is dry cleanable and should be washed warm (maximum 140°F / 60°C) and tumble dried on warm; it is important to follow these instructions to maintain fabric performance, especially when soiled with contaminants.
