The 8 CAL DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed with a focus on compliance and comfort, featuring breathable FR fabric and a practical two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. It includes a functional seven-pocket design with two chest pockets that have flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps, ensuring essential items are readily accessible. This coverall is crafted from 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill and offers dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, complemented by a contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband. The inherently flame-resistant fabric ensures that FR protection will not wash or wear out, and its lightweight, breathable construction provides exceptional moisture wicking and drying capabilities. The coverall meets several compliance standards, including an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Cat level 2, and certifications from NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For care, the garment is dry cleanable and should be turned inside out before laundering, with machine wash instructions to be followed at warm temperatures (max. 140°F / 60°C) and tumble dry on warm. It is advised to wash according to these instructions to maintain fabric performance, particularly when the garment becomes soiled. If contaminants persist after laundering, it is recommended to discontinue use.
