The 8 Cal Drifire® FR coverall is designed to keep the wearer compliant and comfortable, featuring breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. The coverall includes a seven-pocket design with two chest pockets featuring flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps for convenient access to essential items. It is constructed from 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill, offering dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, and is designed with a contoured silhouette and elastic waistband. The inherently flame-resistant material ensures that FR protection will not wash or wear out, while the lightweight, breathable fabric provides superior moisture-wicking and drying capabilities. The coverall's compliance includes an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², categorized as Cat 2, and meets several standards such as NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is recommended to avoid chlorine bleach or detergents containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and fabric softeners. The coverall is dry cleanable, and laundering instructions indicate that it should be turned inside out prior to washing, with warm machine wash (max. 140°F / 60°C) and tumble dry warm to maintain fabric performance.
