The 8 CAL Drifire® FR coverall is designed to ensure comfort and compliance with its breathable FR fabric and a convenient two-way zipper front closure. This coverall features a practical seven-pocket design, including two chest pockets with flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps for easy access to essentials. It is made from a 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill that provides dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, and it has a contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband for a better fit. The inherently flame-resistant fabric guarantees that FR protection will not wash or wear out, while its lightweight and breathable construction offers exceptional moisture-wicking capabilities for comfort. The coverall meets several compliance standards, including an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Cat 2, NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. Product care requires avoiding chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or fabric softeners, and it is dry cleanable. For washing, turn the garment inside out and machine wash warm (maximum 140°F / 60°C), tumble dry warm, and follow specific laundering instructions to maintain fabric performance, especially when soiled with contaminants like dirt, grease, or oil. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advised to discontinue use of the garment.
