The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed to keep the wearer compliant and comfortable, featuring breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. This garment is constructed from 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill and provides dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire. It has a contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband and includes a seven-pocket design, featuring two chest pockets with flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps for convenient access to essential items. Inherently flame resistant, the FR protection will not wash or wear out, and the lightweight, breathable fabric offers unsurpassed moisture-wicking and drying capabilities. The coverall complies with various standards, including an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Cat level 2, NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For care, the garment is dry cleanable and should be laundered inside out in warm water (max. 140°F / 60°C), avoiding chlorine bleach, detergents containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and fabric softeners. To maintain fabric performance when soiled, it is essential to wash according to these instructions, and if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, discontinuing use of the garment is recommended.
