The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed for women and features breathable FR fabric along with a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. It includes seven pockets, two chest pockets with flaps, and pass-through side pockets with snaps, providing functional storage for essential items. The coverall is made from 5.5 oz. TECGEN SELECT® OPF blend twill, offering dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire. Its contoured silhouette includes an elastic waistband for added comfort. The inherently flame-resistant material ensures that FR protection will not wash or wear out, while the lightweight, breathable fabric promotes outstanding moisture-wicking and drying capabilities. In terms of compliance, the coverall has an arc rating of 8 cal/cm² and meets several standards including NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For care, the garment is dry cleanable and should be turned inside out prior to laundering. It can be machine washed warm (max. 140°F / 60°C) and tumble dried warm. To maintain fabric performance, it is essential to wash according to the provided instructions, especially if the garment becomes soiled with dirt, grease, or oils. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is recommended to discontinue use of the garment.
