The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed for women, offering compliance and comfort with its breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. This coverall features a seven-pocket design, including two chest pockets with flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps, ensuring that essential items are easily accessible. Made from 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill, it provides dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, while its contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband enhances fit. The inherently flame-resistant fabric retains its FR protection even after multiple washes, and it boasts a lightweight, breathable construction with excellent moisture-wicking and drying properties. The coverall meets several compliance standards, including an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Cat level 2, and certifications such as NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is advised not to use chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or fabric softeners, and the garment is dry cleanable. Machine wash is recommended with warm water (maximum 140°F / 60°C) and tumble dry warm, ensuring that contaminants are adequately removed to maintain fabric performance. If any contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is best to discontinue the use of the garment.
