The 8 cal Drifire® FR coverall is designed for compliance and comfort, featuring breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. It includes a seven-pocket design with two chest pockets with flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps for convenient accessibility. The coverall is constructed from 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill and offers dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire. With a contoured silhouette and elastic waistband, it ensures a secure fit. The inherently flame-resistant fabric will not lose its protective qualities over time, and it boasts lightweight and breathable characteristics along with exceptional moisture-wicking and drying capabilities. The coverall meets compliance standards including an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Cat level 2, and certifications from NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. Care instructions advise against using chlorine bleach and hydrogen peroxide, as well as fabric softeners. It is dry cleanable, and laundering should be done by turning the garment inside out, machine washing warm (maximum 140°F / 60°C), and tumble drying warm to remove contaminants while maintaining fabric performance. If contaminants remain after laundering, it is recommended to discontinue use of the garment.
