The Women's DRIFIRE® Tecgen FR work shirt is designed with a feminine silhouette and is inherently flame resistant (FR), made from a 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill fabric that offers dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire. This lightweight, breathable fabric features superior moisture-wicking and drying properties, ensuring comfort during wear. The shirt includes practical features such as a pen/pencil slot in the front pocket, two chest pockets with flaps, and is tailored to accommodate all women, including expectant mothers, with a recommendation to size up for maternity use. The compliance attributes include an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², classified at Cat 2, and certifications in accordance with NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is advised not to use chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or fabric softeners, and to dry clean the garment or machine wash it warm (maximum temperature of 140° / 60°), while turning it inside out prior to laundering. To maintain the performance of the fabric, it is important to follow the washing instructions to remove contaminants such as dirt, grease, and oils; if contaminants persist after laundering, it is recommended to discontinue use of the garment.
