The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed to ensure compliance and comfort with its breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. This coverall features a seven-pocket design, including two chest pockets with flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps for convenient storage. Key attributes include a contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband, inherently flame-resistant fabric that maintains its protective qualities through laundering, and lightweight, breathable construction that offers superior moisture-wicking and drying capabilities. The coverall provides dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, with an arc rating of 8 cal/cm² and classified as Cat 2, meeting multiple compliance standards including NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For care, the garment is dry cleanable and should be turned inside out prior to laundering; it can be machine washed warm (max. 140°F / 60°C) and tumbled dry warm. To ensure the longevity of the fabric performance, it is important to wash according to the specified instructions to remove contaminants such as dirt, greases, and oils; if contaminants cannot be completely removed, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
