The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed to ensure compliance and comfort for the wearer, featuring a breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. This coverall includes a seven-pocket design with two chest pockets that have flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps for convenient accessibility to essential items. The coverall is made from a 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill, providing dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, and features a contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband. It is inherently flame resistant, with FR protection that will not wash or wear out, and it boasts lightweight, breathable fabric with an unsurpassed moisture-wicking and drying rate. Compliance with safety standards is ensured with an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², a category level of Cat 2, and certifications including NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. Care instructions recommend not using chlorine bleach or detergents containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or fabric softeners. The coverall is dry cleanable and should be turned inside out prior to laundering, machine washed in warm water (maximum 140°F / 60°C), and tumbled dry warm to maintain fabric performance. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advised to discontinue the use of the garment.
