The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed for compliance and comfort, featuring breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. The coverall includes a seven-pocket design with two chest pockets that have flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps, providing practical storage options for essential items. Key attributes include a contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband, lightweight and breathable fabric, and inherent flame resistance that does not wash or wear out. The fabric is made from a 5.5 oz. TECGEN SELECT® OPF blend twill, offering dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire. Regarding compliance, the coverall meets the following standards: arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Cat level 2, NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it should not be treated with chlorine bleach or detergents containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or fabric softeners. It is dry cleanable and should be turned inside out prior to laundering. Machine washing should be done in warm water (max. 140°F / 60°C), and the garment should be tumble dried warm. To maintain fabric performance, washing should be done according to the instructions to remove any contaminants, and if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, discontinuing use of the garment is recommended.
