The Women's Drifire® Tecgen FR work shirt features a feminine silhouette and is inherently flame resistant (FR), constructed from a 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill. This shirt provides dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, and includes a pen/pencil slot in the front pocket along with two chest pockets with flaps. Notably lightweight and breathable, the fabric boasts moisture-wicking properties that keep you comfortable while offering unsurpassed drying rate. This FR protection remains effective even after washing, as it will not wash or wear out. The shirt is designed to accommodate all women, including expectant mothers, with a recommendation to size up when shopping for maternity workwear. Compliance with safety standards includes an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Category level 2, and certification to NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For care, the shirt should not be washed with chlorine bleach or detergents containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or fabric softeners. It is dry cleanable, should be turned inside out before laundering, and can be machine washed warm (max. 140° / 60°) with tumble drying on warm. Proper care is essential to maintain fabric performance and any contaminants that cannot be washed out after laundering indicate discontinuation of use is necessary.
