The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed to keep the wearer compliant and comfortable, featuring breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. It includes a seven pocket design with two chest pockets that have flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps for functional storage. Key attributes of the coverall include a fabric/material composition of 5.5 oz. TECGEN SELECT® OPF blend twill, dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, a contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband, and inherently flame-resistant properties that will not wash or wear out. The lightweight, breathable fabric offers unsurpassed moisture-wicking and drying rates. Compliance certifications include an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Cat level 2, and adherence to NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, the coverall is dry cleanable and should be turned inside out prior to laundering. It can be machine washed warm (max. 140°F / 60°C) and tumble dried warm. Care instructions specify not to use chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or fabric softeners, and it is recommended to wash according to these instructions to maintain fabric performance when soiled with dirt, greases, or oils. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, discontinuing use of the garment is advised.
