The 8 Cal Drifire® FR coverall is designed to offer compliance and comfort through its breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. This coverall features a functional seven pocket design, including two chest pockets with flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps for convenient access to essentials. It is crafted from a 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill material, providing dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire while maintaining a contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband. The garment is inherently flame resistant, ensuring that FR protection will not wash or wear out, and it features a lightweight, breathable composition with exceptional moisture wicking and drying capabilities. The coverall complies with several safety standards, including an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Cat level 2, NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is recommended to avoid chlorine bleach and any detergents containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and fabric softeners. The coverall is dry cleanable; to maintain fabric performance, it should be turned inside out prior to laundering, machine washed warm (maximum 140°F / 60°C), and tumble dried warm. Proper laundering is essential to remove contaminants such as dirt, greases, and oils, and if contaminants remain after washing, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
