The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed to ensure the wearer remains compliant and comfortable, featuring breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. The coverall incorporates a seven pocket design including two chest pockets with flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps, providing functional storage for essential items. It is constructed from 5.5 oz. TECGEN SELECT® OPF blend twill, offering dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, and includes a contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband. Key features include inherently flame resistant material that provides FR protection which will not wash or wear out, lightweight and breathable fabric with superior moisture-wicking and drying capabilities, and compliance with standards such as an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Cat level 2, NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is advised not to use chlorine bleach or detergents containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or fabric softeners. The coverall is dry cleanable; it should be turned inside out prior to laundering, machine washed at a maximum of 140°F (60°C), and tumble dried warm. Proper washing is essential to remove contaminants such as dirt, greases, and oils in order to maintain fabric performance, and if contaminants persist after laundering, discontinuing use of the garment is recommended.
