The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed to ensure compliance and comfort for the wearer, featuring breathable FR fabric and a convenient two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. This coverall includes a seven-pocket design with two chest pockets with flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps, providing functional storage for essential items. It is crafted from 5.5 oz. TECGEN SELECT® OPF blend twill, offering dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, and has a contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband for a better fit. The inherently flame-resistant fabric ensures that FR protection will not wash or wear out, while the lightweight, breathable material boasts an unsurpassed moisture-wicking and drying rate. The coverall complies with safety standards, featuring an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Category 2 protection, and certifications including NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is recommended to avoid using chlorine bleach, detergents containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and fabric softeners. The coverall is dry cleanable, and laundering instructions include turning the garment inside out prior to washing, using a warm machine wash (max. 140°F / 60°C), and tumble drying warm to maintain fabric performance and remove contaminants.
