The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed to provide both compliance and comfort for the wearer, featuring breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. It showcases a seven pocket design, including two chest pockets with flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps to keep essentials easily accessible. This coverall is crafted from a 5.5 oz. TECGEN SELECT® OPF blend twill, offering dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire. The contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband ensures a comfortable fit, while the inherently flame-resistant fabric maintains its FR protection without washing or wearing out. The lightweight and breathable material delivers superior moisture-wicking and drying capabilities. This coverall meets several compliance standards, including an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², CAT level 2, NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is recommended to avoid chlorine bleach and detergents containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and fabric softeners. The garment is dry cleanable, and laundering instructions state to turn the garment inside out, machine wash warm (max. 140°F / 60°C), and tumble dry warm. To maintain fabric performance, it is essential to wash according to these instructions to remove contaminants such as dirt, grease, and oils; if contaminants cannot be removed, it is best to discontinue use of the garment.
