The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed for compliance and comfort, featuring breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. This coverall includes a functional seven-pocket design, with two chest pockets having flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps for convenient access to essentials. Crafted from a 5.5 oz. TECGEN SELECT® OPF blend twill, it offers dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, and has a contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband for a better fit. The inherently flame-resistant material ensures that FR protection will not wash or wear out, while its lightweight and breathable fabric provides superior moisture-wicking and drying capabilities. This coverall has an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², complies with Category 2 under NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For care, the garment is dry cleanable, should be turned inside out prior to laundering, and can be machine washed at warm temperatures (max. 140°F / 60°C) and tumble dried on warm settings. It is advised to avoid chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and fabric softeners and to wash according to provided instructions to maintain fabric performance. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is best to discontinue use.
