The 8 Cal Drifire® FR coverall is designed to keep the wearer compliant and comfortable, featuring breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. This coverall includes a seven-pocket design with two chest pockets that have flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps for convenient access to essential items. It is constructed from 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill, providing dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, and is tailored with a contoured silhouette featuring an elastic waistband. The inherently flame-resistant material ensures that FR protection will not wash or wear out, while the lightweight, breathable fabric offers unsurpassed moisture-wicking capabilities and drying rates. Compliance with safety standards is assured with an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², categorized as Cat 2, and certifications including NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. Product care instructions recommend avoiding chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and fabric softeners, while laundering should involve dry cleaning, turning the garment inside out, machine washing warm (max. 140°F / 60°C), and tumble drying warm. Proper washing is crucial to maintain fabric performance and remove contaminants such as dirt, grease, and oils; if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, discontinuing the use of the garment is advised.
