The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed to keep the wearer compliant and comfortable with its breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. This coverall features a functional seven-pocket design, which includes two chest pockets with flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps for convenient access to essentials. Constructed from 5.5 oz. TECGEN SELECT® OPF blend twill, it provides dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire. The contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband enhances comfort, while the inherently flame-resistant fabric ensures that FR protection will not wash or wear out. The lightweight, breathable material boasts an unsurpassed moisture-wicking and drying rate. The product complies with various safety standards, including an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Cat level 2, NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For care, the coverall is dry cleanable and should be turned inside out prior to laundering. It can be machine washed warm (maximum 140°F / 60°C) and tumbled dry warm. To maintain fabric performance, it is crucial to address contaminants such as dirt, greases, and oils promptly; if contaminants cannot be removed through laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
