The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed to keep the wearer compliant and comfortable with its breathable FR fabric and a convenient two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. This coverall features a functional seven pocket design, which includes two chest pockets with flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps, ensuring that essentials are easily accessible. The garment is crafted from a 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill and offers dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, featuring a contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband for a comfortable fit. The inherently flame resistant fabric provides FR protection that will not wash or wear out, alongside its lightweight and breathable characteristics including unsurpassed moisture wicking and drying rate. The coverall complies with strict safety standards, with an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Cat level 2, and adheres to certifications such as NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is advised not to use chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or fabric softeners. The garment is dry cleanable and should be turned inside out prior to laundering; machine wash is recommended at warm temperatures (maximum 140°F / 60°C) followed by a tumble dry on warm. Proper washing and laundering according to these instructions are crucial to maintain fabric performance and remove contaminants such as dirt, greases, and oils, with discontinuation of use recommended if contaminants cannot be fully removed.
