The 8 Cal Drifire® FR coverall is designed for comfort and compliance, featuring breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. This coverall includes a seven-pocket design with two chest pockets that have flaps and pass-through side pockets equipped with snaps, providing functional storage for essential items. Constructed from 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill, it offers dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, with a contoured silhouette and elastic waistband for a better fit. Key features include inherently flame-resistant material that maintains its protective qualities through repeated wear and washing, as well as lightweight, breathable fabric that boasts superior moisture-wicking and drying properties. The coverall complies with safety standards such as an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Cat level 2, NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is advised not to use chlorine bleach or detergents containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or fabric softeners. The garment is dry cleanable and should be turned inside out before laundering, with machine wash settings of warm (maximum 140°F / 60°C) and tumble dry warm recommended to maintain fabric performance. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is best to discontinue use of the garment.
