The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed for compliance and comfort, featuring a breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. It includes a functional seven pocket design with two chest pockets with flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps to keep essentials accessible. The coverall is tailored specifically for women with a contoured silhouette and an elastic waistband. Constructed from a 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill, it provides dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire and is inherently flame resistant, with FR protection that will not wash or wear out. The lightweight, breathable fabric offers superior moisture wicking and drying capabilities. In terms of compliance, it has an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², is classified as Cat 2, and meets standards including NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is dry cleanable, should not be exposed to chlorine bleach or detergents containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or fabric softeners. Laundry instructions include turning the garment inside out before machine washing warm (max. 140°F / 60°C) and tumble drying warm, ensuring contaminants are removed to maintain fabric performance. If contaminants remain after laundering, discontinuing use of the garment is recommended.
