The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed for safety and comfort, featuring breathable FR fabric and a convenient two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. This garment includes a seven-pocket design with two chest pockets that have flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps for efficient storage of essential items. It is crafted from a 5.5 oz. TECGEN SELECT® OPF blend twill, providing dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire. The coverall has a contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband for a better fit and comfort. Key features include inherent flame resistance that will not wash or wear out, lightweight and breathable fabric, and superior moisture-wicking and drying capabilities. In terms of compliance, it meets various standards including an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Category level 2, NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, the coverall is dry cleanable and should be turned inside out before laundering. It is machine washable at warm temperatures (max. 140°F / 60°C) and can be tumble dried on warm. To maintain fabric performance and ensure safety, it is essential to wash according to the provided instructions, particularly to remove contaminants like dirt, greases, and oils. If contaminants remain after laundering, it is advised to discontinue use of the garment.
