The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed for compliance and comfort, featuring breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. This garment includes a practical seven-pocket design with two chest pockets that have flaps, as well as pass-through side pockets with snaps for convenient access to essentials. Constructed from 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill, it offers dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, with a contoured silhouette enhanced by an elastic waistband. The inherently flame-resistant fabric ensures that FR protection will not wash or wear out, while its lightweight, breathable design provides unsurpassed moisture-wicking capabilities and drying rates. The coverall meets several compliance standards, including an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Cat level 2, NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is recommended not to use chlorine bleach, detergents containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or fabric softeners. The coverall is dry cleanable and should be turned inside out prior to laundering; it can be machine washed warm (maximum 140°F / 60°C) and tumbled dry warm. For optimal fabric performance, contaminants such as dirt, greases, and oils should be removed immediately, and if they cannot be cleaned after laundering, discontinuation of use is advised.
