The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed for compliance and comfort, featuring breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. It includes a functional seven-pocket design with two chest pockets with flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps for convenient access to essentials. The coverall is made from a 5.5 oz. TECGEN SELECT® OPF blend twill and offers dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, with a contoured silhouette and an elastic waistband for a better fit. Inherently flame resistant, the fabric's FR protection will not wash or wear out, and it is lightweight and breathable, providing an unsurpassed moisture-wicking and drying rate. The product complies with safety standards, including an arc rating of 8 Cal/cm², Cat level 2, NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. Care instructions specify that the garment is dry cleanable and should be turned inside out prior to laundering; it can be machine washed warm (maximum 140°F / 60°C) and tumble dried warm. Additionally, it is important to wash according to the provided instructions to maintain fabric performance and remove contaminants; if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is best to discontinue use of the garment.
