The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed for compliance and comfort, featuring breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. This coverall includes a seven-pocket design, with two chest pockets that have flaps and pass-through side pockets equipped with snaps for convenience. It is constructed from 5.5 oz. TECGEN SELECT® OPF blend twill, providing dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, and presents a contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband for a more tailored fit. Inherently flame resistant, the FR protection will not wash or wear out, while the lightweight, breathable fabric offers unsurpassed moisture wicking and drying rates. The coverall has an arc rating of 8 cal/cm² and complies with multiple safety standards including NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For care, the garment is dry cleanable; it should be turned inside out prior to laundering and machine washed warm (maximum temperature of 140°F / 60°C), followed by a warm tumble dry. Washing according to these instructions helps remove contaminants and maintain fabric performance, and if contaminants cannot be eliminated after laundering, it is advised to discontinue use of the garment.
