The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed to keep the wearer compliant and comfortable, featuring breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. The coverall is made of a 5.5 oz. TECGEN SELECT® OPF blend twill and provides dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire. It has a contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband and includes a seven-pocket design with two chest pockets featuring flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps for convenient storage. The inherently flame-resistant fabric ensures that FR protection will not wash or wear out, while its lightweight and breathable nature enhances comfort, aided by unsurpassed moisture-wicking and drying rates. This product complies with various standards, including an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Cat level 2, and certifications from NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For care, it is recommended to avoid chlorine bleach, detergents with bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and fabric softeners. The coverall is dry cleanable, machine washable in warm water (max. 140°F / 60°C), and should be tumble dried warm. Proper laundering is essential to remove contaminants and maintain fabric performance, and if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advised to discontinue the use of the garment.
