The 8 CAL Drifire® FR coverall is designed to keep the wearer compliant and comfortable, featuring a breathable FR fabric constructed from a 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill. It offers dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire, with an arc rating of 8 cal/cm² and classified as Cat 2, meeting standards such as NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. The coverall includes a two-way covered zipper front closure for easy entry, a contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband, and a practical seven-pocket design comprising two chest pockets with flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps. It is inherently flame-resistant, ensuring that FR protection will not wash or wear out, and features lightweight, breathable fabric with superior moisture-wicking and drying capabilities. For product care, it is recommended to avoid chlorine bleach, detergents containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and fabric softeners. The coverall is dry cleanable, and for laundering, it should be turned inside out, machine washed warm (max. 140°F / 60°C), and tumble dried warm, ensuring that any contaminants can be effectively removed to maintain fabric performance.
