The 8 Cal DRIFIRE® FR coverall is designed to keep the wearer compliant and comfortable, featuring breathable FR fabric and a two-way zipper front closure for easy entry. This coverall includes seven functional pockets, with two chest pockets equipped with flaps and pass-through side pockets with snaps for convenient access to essentials. The garment is crafted from 5.5 oz. Tecgen Select® OPF blend twill, offering dual hazard protection against arc flash and flash fire. It features a contoured silhouette with an elastic waistband for a comfortable fit, and the inherently flame resistant fabric provides protection that will not wash or wear out. The lightweight and breathable material ensures unsurpassed moisture-wicking and drying rates. Compliance certifications include an arc rating of 8 cal/cm², Cat level 2, NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is recommended to avoid chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and fabric softeners. The coverall is dry cleanable, and laundering instructions specify turning the garment inside out before machine washing on a warm cycle (max. 140°F / 60°C) and tumble drying on warm. Proper washing and laundering are essential for maintaining fabric performance, particularly when the garment becomes soiled with contaminants such as dirt, greases, or oils. If contaminants persist after laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
