The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with no decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The shelving system offers easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and its open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and decking must be ordered separately.
